Help me reach 100

From: Hedglin, Nils A (Nils.A.Hedglin@Intel.Com) | Date: 2005-12-15 08:59:50 UTC-08:00
I have the goal to reach 100 finds & 10 plants by my 1 year anniversary.
I'm 93 or 94 finds & 8 plants (with 1 more all ready to be released), &
have 2 weeks left. So, I'm curious to see what boxes you'd recommend to
reach 100. I'm looking for boxes that are extra special in some way
(scenic view, fun clues, incredible stamp, etc). I've gotten all the
ones in Sacramento county, except for Grumpy Grinch's Riverside Ramble,
NancyAnne & Doug's Bucky Beaver, & Don & Gwen's Brannan Duck. You can
check my AQ logbook to see what else I've gotten since it's up to date.
Box series would be a bonus too, so the Riverside Ramble & Best of Davis
are high on my list. Because of my limited time, both free time & time
until my deadline, distance from Sacramento & time taken to get the box
will be a key factors for me. But, I'd like this discussion to be also
be of use to the rest of you, so welcome suggestions for any memorable
boxes in the Northern California area. I'll note them down for my 2nd
100. Oh, & please include whether or not the box is too tough to bring
my 2 yr old daughter along.

Thanks,
Black Cavalier

Paul in SF has planted some glorious boxes in the past few months.
Mim's Sea Creatures are lovely. The wine (and olive) themed boxes in
Sonoma are a lot of fun. Sweet Dreams is a beautiful series, a nice
walk, not too difficult. There are a few boxes to be had in
Emeryville (cough cough). And Robb and I have been peppering other
locations in Alameda County with boxes (cough cough...not meaning to
toot my own horn excessively).

Now that's a great idea! A little far for the 1st 100, but I'll add it
to my list.
